But the problem it documents humorously is real. William Tate added up the numbers for Investors Business Daily. Journalists donate money to Democrats over Republicans by more than a 10 to 1 margin, and even that ratio understates the case:

I personally don’t care whom Edwards sleeps with, but then I didn’t care about David Vitter, Jack Ryan, Dan Burton, Dan Crane, Henry Hyde, Newt Gingrich, Bob Livingston–well, you get the picture.
